I have enjoyed art from the time I was very young. I love colors and patterns and textures that are all around me. Over the years, I have tried art in many forms but I enjoy drawing most. I found that I especially love drawing people. We are all so unique and diverse and I love the challenge of capturing a look in the eyes, a little smirk, and a personality as I draw faces. I also love creating art that is meaningful to the person receiving it.
My favorite mediums for portraits are pastels and pencil, though I am still learning and experimenting with other styles and techniques.
I also enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and spending time with my husband and four wonderful children.
